1. Purpose and Nature of the Service

Theotokos Junior Academy is an online educational and faith-formation ministry serving students in Grades 3–12 and supporting their families. Programs may include Bible study, Christian apologetics, liturgical formation, servant preparation, and parent-awareness resources.

All content is provided for educational and spiritual formation within the context of the Coptic Orthodox Christian faith.

2. Eligibility and Parental Consent

• Participation by minors requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• By registering a child, a parent or guardian affirms that they have authority to do so.
• Parents remain responsible for their child’s participation, conduct, and online activity.

3. Online Participation and Conduct

Programs may use video conferencing, learning platforms, email, approved group messaging, digital materials, and other online tools. Participants are expected to engage respectfully, use materials for personal educational purposes, and avoid disruptive or harmful behavior.

4. Faith Alignment

Instruction and Academy activities are rooted in the teachings, traditions, and spiritual life of the Coptic Orthodox Church. The Academy operates under the spiritual and academic oversight of Holy Sophia University.

5. Registration and Fees

Registration is currently free unless otherwise clearly communicated. Voluntary donations may be welcomed to support the Academy’s mission, but donations are not required for participation.

6. Learning, Assignments, and Assessments

Programs may include readings, reflections, quizzes, discussions, assignments, or other age-appropriate learning activities. Students are expected to participate honestly and complete work in accordance with program instructions. The current Bible Study program is not a ranked Bible competition.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Academy lesson materials, documents, graphics, videos, and logos are owned by Theotokos Junior Academy or used with permission. Materials are intended for personal, non-commercial educational use and may not be redistributed without permission.

8. Privacy and Communications

Information collected through registration and program communications is used for Academy-related purposes. Families may receive program-related communication by email and other approved electronic channels.

9. Disclaimer

The Academy provides educational and spiritual-formation content. It does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or other professional counseling services.

10. Changes to Programs or Terms

Schedules, platforms, program features, and these terms may be updated as the Academy grows. Material changes should be communicated through the website or official Academy channels.
