Structured study of Holy Scripture with age-based tracks for Grades 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12.

Participation is free. There is no required fee to attend. Families who wish to support the ongoing work of the Academy may contact us privately about a voluntary donation.

Grade Levels

The Academy serves students in Grades 3–12. Individual programs may use age-based tracks.

Each participant should have an individual email account for program access and Google Classroom.

Programs use online learning, digital materials, and approved communication platforms.

Questions Parents Usually Ask Before Enrolling

What is Theotokos Junior Academy?

An online Coptic Orthodox formation ministry for students in Grades 3–12, serving under the spiritual and academic oversight of Holy Sophia University.

Does TJA replace my parish Bible study or Sunday School?

No. The Academy is designed to support families and local parishes by providing structured, age-appropriate learning and resources. Students should remain active in their parish life.

Is there a Bible competition?

No. The current Bible Study program is not a ranked Bible competition. Learning focuses on understanding Scripture, participation, reflection, age-appropriate assessment, and spiritual growth.

How are students grouped?

Bible Study uses Grades 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12 tracks. Apologetics currently focuses on middle and high school students.

How do students and servants communicate?

Communication uses approved, moderated Academy channels. Healthy boundaries and transparent communication are expected, with parents included when appropriate.

What does it cost?

Registration is currently free. Voluntary donations may be welcomed to support the service, but they are not required for participation.
